domestic is a typeface with eight variations created through the photographing and abstracting of objects and surfaces found in the domestic space. the domestic family consists of a hose, a surveillance camera, a pair of sandals, a staircase, a set of hangers, a hamper, a window, a stove, and many other things. each variation in the family take its name after an object mirroring one of the eight letters in the word d-o-m-e-s-t-i-c. domestic is a record of life in quarantine that reverts the familiar back to unfamiliar and the invisible back to visible.
